The drummer..
My god.. watch the drummer. Quote from the original Esquire article,
“You could be wheelbarreling a supermodel offstage right while watching the Super Bowl and this guy would still be having more fun than you.”

OMG WTF KITTIES!
So last night and this morning I was all, like, NIN + Dead Milkmen.. and today I’m all like Billy Joel and WHAM.. Thank you Jack.
OK.. I know at least one person who is going to go insane over this. Flight of the conchords is one of the better HBO productions in recent years. I highly recommend a fast Youtube Search for FOTC.
OK.. seriously.. how does someone learn this. I’m not asking for tips, I want to know how someone had the time and inclination to… what.. no girlfriend? What hell. I guess everyone needs a hobby.
I guess there is a real musical instrument based on this principal called the Armonica
It should be no surprise that I dislike the RIAA. Anyone with any technical knowledge pretty much does. they are a bunch of clueless jerks. Someone managed to shake a copy of a training video they produced that links music piracy and CD copying to drugs, murder and father-raping.
The guys over at ArsTechnica have a very nice take on the whole issue: ” Although Prosecuting Music Piracy doesn’t have the trappings of a box office hit, the humorous hyperbole will likely earn this low-budget production a devoted cult following in the same vein as the classic 1938 propaganda film Reefer Madness.”
From the upcoming Semi-Pro movie. Now lick me sexy.
Just for kicks, heres the trailer:

Another passionate subject of mine is the current war on the consumer by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America). They persist in believing hat the best way to make money is to keep suing people that download music from file sharing services. While I have no problem with people protecting this intelectuial property, the tactics used in this case are sketchy to say the least. In both their conception and execution, the methods used are not legally effective and overly invasive. One technique they have used id to hire a company called MediaSentry to do thier dirty work. This dirty work includes poisoning file sharing services with corrupt versions of media, creating their own file sharing service as a honey pot to entrap people and actively hacking consumers PC’s to illegally gather evidence. Even with all that effort, the RIAA has routinely sued the wrong people or sued with little to no evidence.
Now, MediaSentrys role in the lawsuits is under scrutiny and people are starting to call foul. Oh yeah.. and the hacker community has pretty much Pw00ned them. . So yeah. All that realy makes me want to go out and buy the latest CD…. douches.
